The photography competition has received an overwhelming response from Chinese students and international students since its release. We have selected the following works from all the submissions, some shows a peaceful image and the culture of their country, others present the harmony between man and nature and the diversity of animals. Although pollution is deteriorating the overall environment of the mighty river, Buriganga, it still exists as the lifeblood of Old Dhaka. Boatmen of river Buriganga are regarded as the witness of time with a small paid for their livelihood by sailing the boat. During the Mughal reign, many infrastructures were built in Old Dhaka, now most of them are conservated as the archaeological emblem.” - Third prize -shoot：赵子祺  （未来技术学院）《火树银花》“ 夜放千蕾触星辰，千万点，花千树，地铺万道霞光。真金当需真火炼，百炼成钢自火红。A thousand buds touch the stars at night, a million dots, a thousand trees, a thousand hues on the ground. 2021 Photography Contest in International College of UCAS

    This photography contest is held to promote cultural exchange and communication, enhance interaction, and build a platform to record the international development of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences.      I. Object of participation: unlimited     II. Call for entries: July 23 2021 - September 9, 2021     III. Requirements of the works.   (1) Photography works should have prominent themes and realistic contents, and the selected materials should reflect the internationalization process of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese University of Sciences or the local customs of China, and international students can present the local customs of their countries, landscapes or portraits are welcome.  The content of the work should be positive and relevant to the theme.    (2) The shooting tool is not limited, the electronic version of the photo format should be JPG, 8-12 million pixels, the manuscript can be a single picture or a group photo (no more than 4 pictures). Please name the file as follows: unit + name + name of the work, and attach a brief description of the work within 100 words.    (3) Photographic works must be original, post-processing is limited to cropping, brightness and color adjustment, and no watermark may be added to the photo.    (4) All entries are non-refundable and can be used repeatedly. All works involving copyright, portrait rights and privacy rights are the responsibility of the author.     IV. 国科大在第四届来华留学生征文暨短视频大赛中获得优秀成绩UCAS Got Excellent Results in the 4th “My Beautiful Encounter with China” Essay/Short-Video Competition for International Students    2020年12月8日下午，由教育部国际合作与交流司主办，教育部留学服务中心承办的第+四届来华留学生征文暨短视频大赛颁奖典礼在线上举行。教育部国际合作与交流司副司长方军、教育部留学服务中心副主任杨凌出席了本次线上颁奖典礼并分别致辞，来自150余所参赛院校的获奖留学生代表以及留管老师200余人、人民日报海外版以及新浪网等新闻媒体记者参加了本次线上颁奖典礼。On the afternoon of December 8, 2020, the Award Ceremony of the 4th “My Beautiful Encounter with China” Essay/Short-Video Competition for International Students, sponsored by the Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges of the Ministry of Education (MOE) and hosted by the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchanges (CSCSE) of MOE, was held online. Fang Jun, Deputy Director General of MOE Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges, and Yang Ling, CSCSE Deputy Director attended the award ceremony and gave speeches online. Award-winning student delegates from more than 150 universities, over 200 teachers in charge of international students’ affairs, and reporters from the media including the overseas edition of People's Daily, Sina and so on also attended the ceremony online.   中国科学院大学荣获本次征文大赛优秀组织奖，来自国际学院、国家纳米中心的巴基斯坦籍留学生阿福（Saud uz Zafar）在曹志红教授的指导下凭作品《美丽的邂逅：我与中国的故事》荣获本次大赛征文优秀奖。他的作品细数了自己从小就与中国结下的缘分，记录了来华留学后的学习、生活情况，并以独特的视角描写了他眼中开放包容的中国“正发展得越来越好”，还“亲眼目睹了中国政府把人民生命安全和身体健康放在第一位而采取的有效抗击”。The University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) won the Award for Excellent Organization, and Saud uz Zafar, a Pakistani international student from UCAS International College, National Center for Nanoscience and Technology won the Award for Excellence in Writing for his essay My Beautiful Encounter with China: My Stories with China under the guidance of Professor Cao Zhihong. He records his predestined tie with China from his childhood in his work, and writes about his study and life in China. With his unique view, he depicts in his work that China “is developing better and better” in an open and inclusive manner. He also witnesses that the Chinese government put people's life and health first and takes effective measures against Covid-19.   本次大赛共收到来自100余所高校及个人投稿的征文作品1100余篇，最终评选出一等奖3名，二等奖5名，三等奖20名，优秀奖32名，以《我与中国的美丽邂逅——我的2020》为书名结集出版。阿福的作品被收入该书系。This competition received more than 1,100 essays submitted by more than 100 universities and individuals, and selected three first-prize winners, five second-prize winners, 20 third-prize winners and 32 excellent-prize winners. The essays are collected together and published under the title of My Beautiful Encounter with China: My 2020, and Saud uz Zafar’s Ah Fu's work is also included in the book.   本次大赛旨在促进不同国家青年一代的人文交流，展示各国来华留学生风采，发掘留学生们感人至深的中国故事，记录不平凡的2020。所有获奖作品将会在人民日报海外版、神州学人及“留学中国study in china”公众号等媒体发布。The competition aims to promote cultural and people-to-people exchanges among young people from different countries, showcase international students’ demeanors, explore their touching stories with China, and record an extraordinary year of 2020.
