On May 10, the International College of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) was invited to participate in the 2026 (2nd) Shanghai High-Quality International Talent Exchange Fair and the HSK International Student Recruitment and Employment Exhibition for Chinese Universities. The event is a flagship initiative guided by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education. To date, it has held more than 200 events across 51 countries, helping over 200,000 learners pursue further studies or employment opportunities in China. Participating institutions included more than 40 renowned Chinese universities, such as University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) ，Peking University, Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Wuhan University, and Nanjing University, as well as leading enterprises.

       5月10日，中国科学院大学（简称国科大）国际学院受邀参加2026(第二届)上海高质量国际人才交流会暨HSK高校来华留学就业展。该活动是教育部语合中心指导打造的项目，至今已在全球51国举办了200余场，帮助20余万学习者来华留学或就业。此次参展单位包括中国科学院大学、北京大学、复旦大学、上海交通大学、武汉大学、南京大学等在内的40多家国内知名高校，以及多家著名企业。

Yang Zhou, Deputy Director of the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education, delivered the opening remarks. He stated that the Center will continue collaborating with partners from various sectors to establish a new model integrating “standards development, curriculum and training, examination and certification, as well as internships and employment.” The initiative aims to further enhance the service capacity of HSK 3.0, strengthen the practical value of the Chinese language, and better support international talent cultivation and industrial development needs.

The UCAS exhibition booth

  The International College of UCAS officially launched an on-campus HSK test center in 2024. It is committed to advancing international Chinese language education and providing high-quality training for international youth students worldwide, particularly those from Belt and Road countries. During the exhibition, nearly one thousand international students from France, United Kingdom, United States, Russia, Thailand, Indonesia, Azerbaijan and other countries came to the UCAS exhibition booth for consultation, showing strong interest in studying at UCAS. In addition, the International College also exchanged experiences in the cultivation of international students with the fellow participating other international college from certain universities, including Peking University, Fudan University, and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and communicated with  a number of leading enterprises and professional education service organizations on international talent demand, employment trends, internship opportunities, university-enterprise collaboration, and career development support for international students, thereby laying a solid foundation and opening a brand-new chapter for UCAS in carrying out future work in the fields of international student education and employment.

        国科大国际学院于2024年正式在校园内设立HSK考点，大力开展国际中文推广，高质量推进来自世界各国，尤其是“一带一路”沿线国家国际青年学子的教育和培养工作。展会期间，来自法国、英国、美国、俄罗斯、泰国、印尼、阿塞拜疆等国近千名留学生前来国科大展位咨询，他们对来留学国科大表现出浓厚的兴趣。此外，国际学院还与参展的北大、复旦、上交大等兄弟高校共同交流留学生培养心得，并与相关企业沟通留学生就业需求，从而为国科大今后开展留学生教育与就业领域的工作，奠定了良好基础，拉开了崭新序幕。
